“This is what I want to do with my life,” I thought in 2006 when I was introduced to the mortgage business. Not only was I good with numbers but helping individuals and families with their mortgages would tap all of the organizational and people skills I had relied on as an elementary school teacher for nine years.

My teaching background continues to come in handy as I can help people understand when and why it makes sense to refinance their mortgage or to comprehend the various loan programs available to them. I have an array of loans available, including Conventional, Jumbo, VA and ODVA (Oregon-based veteran), FHA, FHA Streamline, HARP, and USDA Rural Housing programs. Whether people qualify for a single option or three or four, I help guide them so they end up with the mortgage that makes the most sense for their personal situation. Being licensed in both Oregon and Washington allows me to work with my clients as well as their friends and family—across the border.

I love helping people create the life they want in Central Oregon where I’ve spent my whole life. I grew up in Madras, OR, attended Central Oregon Community College, Oregon State University, and Eastern Oregon University. I also taught school in Sisters, OR after completing my Masters Degree. This is where I play, whether I’m white water rafting with my family and friends (my 11 year old son has been down 23 multi-day river trips), snow skiing or water skiing. This is the community I strive to improve—whether through the Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NEW) which I’ve been a part of since 2007 or spearheading the installation of Central Oregon’s first 18-hole disc golf course so that families and kids would have something free and healthy to do in Sisters.

I’m all about helping people in every way I know how. That’s why I always go above and beyond with all my clients.  Whether I’m saving them money through a refinance or helping them secure the right purchase loan when they’ve found the perfect house, I make sure they get the best rate and best program available to them. My Ability to walk them through each step of what can admittedly be a challenging loan process takes away the uncertainly and the fear out of the process and I love that.
