Cheryl Kent, Senior Loan Officer

Cheryl has been in Central Oregon with her family since 2005. Cheryl was the first of Team Kent to become a loan originator in February of 2004. She and her husband, Shaun, have worked side by side as loan officers since May of 2004. Cheryl received a bachelor's degree in education from Western Oregon University, and spent many years teaching and coaching athletics at various high schools throughout the state of Oregon. Having played college basketball herself, Cheryl's talent, passionate enthusiasm and dedication are clearly evident in the way she lives her life, and the way she treats her clients and colleagues. Shaun and Cheryl spent eight years coaching basketball together, and have truly learned how to work as a team to deliver excellence for their clients.

Cheryl became a Senior Loan Officer in 2006, and since moving to Bend in 2005, has been actively involved in the community. Cheryl founded the Young Professionals Network in 2006, and presented the idea to the Bend Chamber of Commerce. With Cheryl's leadership as the chairperson of the board, the YPN quickly became the premier event for young, active businesspeople in the area. Thousands have attended networking events and benefited from the creation of this organization. Cheryl is also an active member of the Women's Council of Realtors, and is a chairperson for Bend Business Professionals. Cheryl has two children, two dogs, and loves living in beautiful Central Oregon.
